I have been working hard on a co-op project with my team which needs me
to prepare it and launch it out by next week. Jaz, my buddy has been rushing me to put up an article about my home base business system telling me to step out from behind the scene and share with the world what I had gathered where one can generate an extra income that most of us need!
And also what is success without a little adversity?
Anyways . . .
Here is an article that I'm writing in a two-part series.
I thought you might find some values in it. Enjoy . . .
It's already a year since my team and I started Onlineincomehub.
The experience has been a whirlwind of excitement and growth.
So today I want to take some time to reflect on what I've learned over the course of this year so that you can take some of my experience and apply it to your business.
Well to start out with . . .
There are typically two primary reasons why people fail in a network & affiliate marketing business... These are of course, after you kick out the tire-kickers, looky-loos and throw in the towel.
So, back to our two reasons for the hard-working, dedicated brothers and sisters of the wonderful industry...
1) They start on a limited budget from the ?cookie jar', and they run out of money before they have a chance to build an organization.
2) They make their list of 100 warm market contacts, run through those, and then they are out of people to talk to. (And out of money to advertise).
Those are the ?biggies'.
But it doesn't have to be that way, IF, they simply used a complete business model.
Let me explain...
When I began marketing in this industry after calling my entire warm list. The next thing I did was contacting the cold list which appeared to be the only option. Every business I turned to and every leader I interviewed told me the same things. They said.
. .
This business is a business of numbers so the MORE people you calls in the shortest amount of time the quicker you will have success.
After following this advice and calling thousands of leads and paying thousands of dollars to do it I realized that there is more to it than just calling leads. If that was all there was to it I would have seen success.
So . . .
It is a numbers game and the more people you contact in a shorter amount of time the more success you will have, but you first have to be very good at cold calling to make any of this work isn't it?
I realized this was not for me. While going through the process I always knew in the back of my mind that there had to be a faster way.
LEVERAGE!
On a Simple System You see there are lots of eBooks and different guides to help you be successful out there, but what I've found is that if you look past the information being sold to the PROCESS behind it you'll uncover the true cause of their success. The answer is NOT in the details, but rather in the PROCESS. Observe the process of those doing better than you and then mimic it. Ray Kroc, the franchise master of McDonald's he was a genius in more ways than one.
(You can read more in my blog http://www.get2earnsmart.com/2006/08/what-are-system.html )
The next important thing that I have learnt is that in network marketing it's not you that is important, rather it's those that come after you. By focusing on this question, I created a huge responsibility for myself and had to step into doing many things that I've never done before, but I've done them because I want everyone that comes into my business to know
more and to be able to see more opportunity than I did. So strive to make the path for those that come after you easier than it was for you and you will naturally attract the right type of people to your business.
In Conclusion
Your focus "first" should be on careful research to identify what you are good at marketing your program and come out with one to two steps of a duplicable system.
My next article will look at marketing strategies "Empty Box Principle" which is a principle that you can apply both online and offline for your success!
